A fair lady of my native,
Seven years my elder,
Whose marriage I attended
With my lustful eyes
When I was barely thirteen,
Was dead a few days back,
Ailing from cancer at Madurai.
With her will die the allegation
That she fed her father in law in bed,
With her meek husband being helpless..
